Library
Our Library Resource Centre is open to students throughout the school day. Each grade visits the Library at least once a week to sign out books and access learning materials.
From home or on the road you can search our library's resources by author, title, subject, keyword, series, editor/illustrator, or "sounds like" searches using our L4U™ Library Software. You can also search library resources at other schools within our Board.
If you are at one of our schools, your can search our library's resource here.
Ontario Library Week
Every October, our school celebrates Ontario Library Week with activities focused on literacy, the joy of reading and life-long learning.
In October 2011, we celebrated the re-release of Brontosaurus Brunch: A Smorgasbord of Dinosaur Delights written by Judi Peers and illustrated by Mary Coles. The author and illustrator visited the school to read to students, and speak to junior and intermediate students about writing The Rookie Card for the "O Canada" Edition, of Chicken Soup for the Soul. The event was also an occasion to congratulate two Integrated Literacy students, Jacob Bowman and Cassie DesLauriers, who have their illustrations featured in Brontosaurus Brunch.
