Academics

St. Luke Catholic Elementary School is committed to academic excellence and continuous student improvement. In this section of our website, you can read about our Catholic Graduate Expectations (CGE), which extend beyond grades and academic achievement, and include developing the whole student in a caring environment.

Shaped by our faith, our academic program is also guided by the Ontario Elementary School Curriculum with specific expectations for each grade, including 40 hours of Community Service, a requirement for students to earn their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and one that complements the culture of our Catholic school and Religious Education classes.

In this section, you can also read about the classes offered at our school, access our Calendar, view our school's Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) results, and learn about our school library -- a valuable resource for our students.

Kindergarten is an exciting time for young children as they grow physically, socially, emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually. This section of our site includes information about our school's Kindergarten program and how to register. Your Child's First Week offers tips for parents/guardians to assist with their child's transition during this important time.
